Educational Qualification:

Selection Process:
The selection process comprises four stages:
The selection process for the MPPSC Food Safety Officer (FSO) Recruitment 2025 comprises several stages designed to assess the candidates’ knowledge, skills, and suitability for the role. The process includes:
Written Examination:
Structure: The exam consists of two sections:
Section A: 50 questions on General Studies, totaling 100 marks.
Section B: 100 questions specific to Food Science and Technology, totaling 300 marks.
Duration: 3 hours.
Format: Objective-type questions (Multiple Choice Questions).
Minimum Qualifying Marks: Candidates must secure at least 40% in Section A to qualify.
Personal Interview:
Candidates who pass the written examination will be invited for a personal interview. This stage evaluates communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and overall suitability for the Food Safety Officer position.
Document Verification:
Shortlisted candidates from the interview will undergo document verification to confirm the authenticity of their educational qualifications, age, category, and other relevant credentials.
Medical Examination:
Finally, candidates will undergo a medical examination to ensure they meet the health standards required for the role.
Candidates must successfully complete each stage to be considered for final selection as a Food Safety Officer under MPPSC.
Salary/Perks & Pay Scale:
- Salary/Pay Scale: The selected candidates will be placed in Pay Band 3, with a salary ranging from ₹15,600 to ₹39,100. In addition to the base pay, candidates will receive Grade Pay and other allowances as per state government norms.
